In May of 2009, Durex, Inc. acquired the Rail Component division of White Systems, Inc. (a division of SWS/Tek LLC). Under the terms of the offer, the new company will go under the brand “White Rail”.

The slick rail components offered today by White Rail have been in production for over 50 years! This has given White Rail ample experience in manufacturing high quality rail system components that can be found throughout the world in major distribution centers. Combining White Rail’s product line with Durex’s pre-existing manufacturing facility will create a unique environment for slick rail systems.

Durex, a privately held manufacturer was founded in 1946, and is still owned and operated by the same family. Durex has an extensive history of high-quality metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication, and finished products. Our 120,000 sq. foot facility in Union, NJ includes over 65 presses with capacity up to 500 tons, laser and turret press capabilities, CNC vertical machining, in-house powder coating, electro mechanical assembly and packaging. Our 64 years of metal fabrication, has lead to long term relationships with our suppliers and supply chain partners thus ensuring the most competitive pricing.

White Rail specializes in manufacturing rail system components that provide a low cost means of effectively storing and moving items about a facility. Most commonly used in the garment industry for moving hanging garments, White Rail’s system components are increasingly finding their way into the greenhouse industry as well as other industrial applications where a low cost system is needed to move product.

White Rail’s goal is to become the preferred slick-rail brand competitively and consistently providing high quality parts for that time critical project. Due to Durex’s large-scale production capacity and expertise, they can custom design products to meet their client’s every need. Add that to the pre-existing manufacturing facility and it will create a unique environment for manufacturing quality slick rail system components.
